Fruit Batter Pudding

1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
butter the size of egg
1 cup sweet milk
1/2 or 1 cup of fruit
flour to make batter like cake

Steam one hour.

Grandma notes that she uses 1/2 of the recipe and steam in top of double boiler. She also notes that this is very good.
