Vegetable Piquant

1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup vinegar
5 slices bacon - diced and fried crisp
1 tsp. salt
dash paprika

Combine ingredients. Bring to boil. Serve hot over cooked and drained string beans or cabbage. For wilted lettuce, pour hot over small pieces of crisp lettuce.
