Rhubarb Cake

1 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 cups rhubarb, cut fine

Mix sour cream and soda together. Add sugar and beat. Sift flour and nutmeg together, and add creamed mixture. Add rhubarb. Pour into greased pan and bake 25 minutes or until done. Serve with cream. This is good either warm or cold.

Update: [Grandma's recipe did not list the amount of flour. www.rhubarbinfo.com has numerous rhubarb recipes for rhubarb cake and it appears that about 2 cups flour is the standard. Hats off to them for the info.]
