Pumpkin Marshmallow

1/2 lb. marshmallows
1 cup pumpkin
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cream, whipped
1 baked pie shell

Put marshmallows, pumpkin, and seasonings in top of double boiler and heat until marshmallows are melted. Let cool for one hour. Fold in whipped cream, pour into pie shell. Chill or freeze for 2 hours. Serve with whipped cream topping if desired.
