Frankfurters & Hot Potato Salad
Heat 1/4 cup bacon drippings and add 1/4 cup vinegar, 1 beaten egg, 1 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper and 1 tsp. sugar. Into this mixture put 4 cups cubed, cooked potatoes, 1/2 cup chopped green pepper, 1/2 cup chopped onion and stir until thick. Cover 3/4 lbs. of frankfurters with boiling water, let simmer 8 minutes. Heap potato salad on platter and arrange Frankfurters on top.
