Sugar Cookies

2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 cup sour milk
1/2 tsp. salt

For flavoring add either 1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. nutmeg and 1/2 tsp. allspice.
