Pumpkin Pecan Bread

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
4 eggs
1 cup pumpkin

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing well. Add pumpkin. Add blended dry ingredients, mix just until moist. Turn into 2 greased and floured 8x4 loaf pans. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans. Cool on wire racks.
