Escalloped Potatoes
Pare and dice or slice amount of raw potatoes needed. Butter a baking dish, put in layer of potatoes, sprinkle with flour and salt, add another layer of potatoes and continue as before until pan is 3/4 full. Then add cream to cover (milk and butter may be used in place of cream). Bake in a hot oven for 45 minutes.
For a variation add a layer of ham in addition to layers of potatoes.
