Drop Molasses Cookies

This is the last of the cookie recipes in the notebook. There are 10 blank pages after this, so I'm sure grandma planned to put in more recipes.

1 cup sugar
1 cup molasses
1 egg
1 cup lard or butter
3/4 cup water
1 tsp. soda

Use enough flour to form soft dough. Drop on greased cookie tin.
