Peach Dreams

1 can peach halves
2 Tbsp. butter
1 pkg. marshmallows
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch

Place peach halves in a shallow pan, place a marshmallow in center of each and place in oven until marshmallow is slightly brown. Allow to cool. Make a sauce of the juice by adding the butter, sugar and cornstarch. Cook until thick, chill. Place a peach in sherbert dish, cover with sauce and chill again. Garnish with spoon of whipped cream, a maraschino cherry and chopped nuts.
