Lightning Cake

Cup of sugar, cup of flour, heaping teaspoon baking powder. Melt one fourth cup of butter in a measuring cup, add two eggs without beating, then fill up cup containing butter and eggs with milk. Beat all ingredients together until mixture bubbles. Bake in square or layer pans.
