Crispy Macaroni Salad
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 envelope cheese sauce mix (1 1/4 oz)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup dairy sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 cups finely shredded cabbage
3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 green onions, chopped
Cook macaroni as directed on package; drain and cool. Pour sauce mix into small saucepan. Slowly stir in water. Heat just to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir in mayonnaise, sour cream, salt and pepper. Cool. Combine macaroni and remaining ingredients. Add sauce mixture; toss to combine. Chill.
