Raisin Pie
1 1/2 cup raisins
2 cups water
2 cups lt. cream
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1-9 inch baked pie shell
1/3 cup nuts
Simmer the raisins in 2 cups water for 20 minutes. Add cream and sugar, simmer 5 to 7 minutes stirring. Mix cornstarch, nutmeg and salt with 3 Tbsp. water. Stir into hot mixture and cook until thick, sirring constantly. Add lemon juice. Garnish with nuts.
