Breaded Pork Chops with Gravy

Dip chops in mixture of beaten egg and 1 Tbsp. water. Roll in well seasoned crumbs, brown in hot fat, dust with additional salt and pepper. Place in baking dish and add water to half cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours adding water if necessary. Remove from pan, pour off all but 2 Tbsp. of fat, and make gravy of drippings.
