Fudge Icing
2 cups water
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Place over low heat until chocolate and shortening are melted, then stirring constantly, bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Remove from heat and beat gently until lukewarm.
